Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA), represented by the Directorate General of the National Qualifications Framework (DGNQF), conducted a capacity-building workshop on Listing Qualifications on the Oman Qualifications Framework (OQF) for a number of awarding bodies and education and training providers located in Dhofar Governorate. The workshop took place from 7- 9 November 2022 in Dhofar University and it was attended by 28 participants from Dhofar University, Oman College of Health Sciences (Dhofar Branch), University of Technology and Applied Sciences (Dhofar Branch) and Salalah Vocational College.
The workshop covered National Qualifications Frameworks, OQF terminologies and OQF governance, management and implementation. It also included a detailed explanation of the nine stages of the Listing Process and the OQF Criteria for Listing.
