In June 2022, the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA), represented by the Directorate General of the National Qualifications Framework (DGNQF), held three meetings with a number of professional bodies in Oman, which were the Oman Society for Petroleum Services (OPAL), the Oman Logistics Association (OLA) and the Omani Society for Human Resource Management (OSHRM).
These meetings aimed to introduce the Oman Qualifications Framework (OQF) and discuss how these professional bodies can benefit from it. During these meetings, the DGNQF staff delivered a presentation on the OQF, its background, the processes for Listing and Aligning Qualifications to the OQF and the National Register of Qualifications (NRQ).
