The joint coordination committee between the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education and Ministry of Education, held its first meeting on Tuesday 26 July 2022. The meeting was chaired by H.E. Dr Jokha Al Shukaili, OAAAQA CEO, and H.E. Dr Abdullah Khamis Ambusaidi from MoE team.
During the meeting, the OAAAQA team gave an overview of the school education quality assurance system and its current status, the reviewers’ selection and training process, as well as the expected timeline for the piloting stage of the system. The attendees agreed on procedures to ensure the flow of data between OAAAQA and MoE, the participation of MoE members in the piloting stage, and other procedures to ensure the success of the school quality assurance system.
