On Monday, 15 February 2023, Her Excellency Professor Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrooqi, the Minster of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation and Chairperson of OAAAQA’s Board of Directors, and in the presence of Her Excellency Dr Jokha bint Abdullah Al Shukaili, CEO of OAAAQA, presented University of Nizwa with their Institutional Accreditation certificate. The certificate was received by Professor Ahmed bin Khalfan AL Rawahi, Chancellor of University of Nizwa.
The OAAAQA Board approved the Institutional Standards Assessment (ISA) Report on 23 January 2023 and the University has received a copy of that report. The University of Nizwa ISA resulted in an Accreditation Outcome of ‘Accredited’. University of Nizwa now joins the ranks of other HEIs already accredited by OAAAQA.
