Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA) carried out a General Foundation Programme Quality Audit (GFPQA) of Military Technological College. The Visit commenced with a meeting of the Panel at OAAAQA’s premises on Monday 27 February 2022 to prepare for the GFPQA prior to the Panel visiting the college. The Panel, comprising two international and one locally-based External Reviewers (
click here), were guided in their activities by the Chair, Prof Chrissie Boughey while the External Review Director, Ms Gargi Chugh.
The Visit took place from 28 February - 3 March 2022, during these filed visit, the Panel met with the teaching and administrative staff, students and other stakeholders. The Panel also conducted on-site visits to key GFP-related facilities of the college and reviewed additional documents submitted for the GFPQA process.
The Panel heled their final meeting at MTC premises on 3 March 2022 to finalise their findings. These deliberations will result in a GFPQA Report for the MTC, to be approved by the OAAAQA Board and published the summary on the OAAAQA website.
