Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA) carried out a General Foundation Programme Quality Audit (GFPQA) of Armed Forces Medical Services School. The Visit commenced with a meeting of the Panel at OAAAQA’s premises on Sunday 9 January 2021 to prepare for the GFPQA prior to the Panel visiting the college. The Panel, comprising one international and two locally-based External Reviewers (
click here), were guided in their activities by the Chair, Dr Imran Hameed while the External Review Director, Dr Ali Al Hassnawi.
The Visit took place from Monday – Thursday 10-13 January 2022, during these filed visit, the Panel met with the teaching and administrative staff, students and other stakeholders. The Panel also conducted on-site visits to key GFP-related facilities of the college and reviewed additional documents submitted for the GFPQA process.
The Panel heled their final meeting at AFMSS premises on 13 January 2022 to finalise their findings. These deliberations will result in a GFPQA Report for the AFMSS, to be approved by the OAAAQA Board and published the summery on the OAAAQA website.
