Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA) organised a training workshop for Schedule of Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences (SQAPS) and College of Sharia’a Sciences (CSS) in Institutional Standards Assessment (ISA) on 19 October 2022. The workshop aimed to give the institutions an overview of the OAAAQA’s role in ISA; to provide a guide for the process of the Institutional Standards Assessment, to provide guidance on how to carry out self-assessment; and provide guidance on how to prepare a commentary and identify key evidence. The sessions also included the use of ADRI as an analytical tool to support self-assessment, in addition to practical and interactive sessions on the writing of self-assessment commentary and consideration of ISA Visit arrangements.
