The Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA) Board held its second meeting of 2022 on Sunday 27 March 2022. The meeting was held in the Minister’s office at the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MoHERI).
The meeting was chaired by Her Excellency, Professor Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrooqi, the chair of OAAAQA. The agenda covered a number of items including the draft of the school education quality assurance system, a presentation on the mechanism for preparing the performance indicators for the operational plans, discussion of the fifth draft of the Appeals Manual (Arabic version), developments of the strategic plan 2021-2025, the Bylaw of OAAAQA Board of Directors responsibilities, and the 2021 annual report of OAAAQA.
The meeting was attended by Her Excellency Dr Jokha bint Abdullah Al Shukaili, CEO of OAAAQA, Dr Rima bint Mansoor Al Zadjaliy - Deputy Chair, Prof Suleiman bin Mohammed Al Balushi, Dr Zuwaina bint Saleh Al Maskari, Dr Ahmed bin Salim Al Abri, Dr Ammar bin Mohammed Al Ojaili and Mr Ahmed bin Saud Al Salmi.
