The Public Relations Department in Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA), organised a blood donation event for the OAAAQA's staff in cooperation with the Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) in the Ministry of health (MoH). The event was held to raise employee awareness about the need for blood donation, and to highlight the vital contribution that voluntary blood donors make towards the national health systems, and to provide adequate resources to increase donor blood collection. OAAAQA hosted a specialised medical team that supervised the operation of the event, witnessing a great interaction and support by the staff, a rewarding experience knowing that they’re donating to save lives.
