On Tuesday, September 13, 2022, Her Excellency Dr. Jokha bint Abdullah Al Shukaili, CEO of Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA) met with a delegation from Microsoft Company – Oman. The delegation comprised of Sheikh Saif bin Hilal Al Hosani, General Manager of Microsoft in the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain, and Eng. Hamad Al Saei, Regional Director of Supporting Educational Sector in the Middle East. The meeting covered a number of important topics, most notably: Discussing aspects of cooperation that may be achieved between the two sides, and related to OAAAQA activities and services. A set of proposals and recommendations for cooperation between the two parties were derived from the meeting, with regard to the necessity of digital transformation for the quality of school education procedures and specialised training programmes in technology for OAAAQA employees.
