Directorate General of Planning and Development in OAAAQ Presents a Presentation to the Executive Committee Members About the Institutional Excellence System
The Directorate General of Planning and Development (DGPD) delivered a presentation on the application of Institutional Excellence System at OAAAQA to Her Excellency, Dr Jokha bint Abdullah Al Shukaili, CEO of OAAAQA, Dr Jenny Walker, Consultant to the CEO on Technical Affairs, Dr Nasser Said Al Hinai, Director General of Planning and Development and Acting Director General of the Center for Higher Education Quality Assurance (CHEQA), Ms Fakhria bint Ali Al Habsi, Director General of the National Qualifications Framework (DQNQF), Dr Fatima bint Mohammed Al Balushi, Deputy Director of General Administrative and Financial Affairs, Mr Mohammed bin Yahya Al Abri, Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, and Ms Halima bint Hamed Al Mamari, Director of CEO’s Office..
The presentation covered a number of key points such as; the concept and components of the Institutional Excellence System and its objectives, key indicators, Institutional Excellence System’s tools and indicators’ measurement. In addition to the time plan, key performance indicators, and benchmarks in the OAAAQA Institutional Excellence System and its indicator cards.
It is worth mentioning, that the Institutional Excellence System is one of the initiatives of the Ministry of Labour (MoL) that promotes institutional excellence by measuring government performance. OAAAQA is currently examining the measurability of the System's indicators as well as the development of its own, as well as, assigning owners to the indicators to provide the necessary data and follow-up on the results achieved in each indicator.
