OAAA Institutional Quality Audit Report
Within the framework of its bilingual communication strategy, the OAAA offers translations of the executive summaries of the Institutional and GFP Quality Audit reports it publishes on its website. These summaries are called ‘translations’ in the sense that their contents are fully derived from the IQA or GFPQA reports in Arabic or English, but they have been restructured in such a way they can read as stand-alone texts. The key editorial modifications to serve this purpose are:
The section “How to Read this Report” has been removed, for the obvious reason that it is only useful with the full report. Only a small section of it has been retained which encourages readers not to focus on the numbers of Commendations, Affirmations and Recommendations (CARs).
Appendix A of the original Report (Panel Members) has been converted into a section (Section 4) in the translation.
In anticipation of any discrepancy between the translation and the original report, a legal clarification has been included (Section 5)
